Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information the AKASH DAIRY FARM mobile app and web portal (the "App") collect, why, and how it is protected. The App is used by registered customers, delivery staff and the office staff of AKASH DAIRY FARM (the "Dairy") to order milk, record deliveries and see bills. The App is developed and published on Google Play by Prowexa Technologies Private Limited ("Prowexa") on behalf of the Dairy.

1. Who is responsible

The Dairy decides what customer information is kept and is responsible for it. Prowexa builds and maintains the App and handles the information only to run the App for the Dairy. Contact for any privacy question:

2. Information we collect

• Account details given to the Dairy when your account is created: business / customer name, contact person, mobile number, delivery address, GSTIN (if any), login username and password (stored only in encrypted, hashed form).
• Orders and deliveries: milk quantities ordered per day, delivered quantity, shortages and reasons, delivery time, the photo taken by the delivery person at delivery and the customer's signature.
• Bills and payments: bills, rates, amounts paid, payment method (cash / UPI / bank) and reference numbers entered by the Dairy. The App does not collect card, UPI PIN or bank login details and does not process payments.
• Problems / claims you report: date, quantity, description and the photos you attach.
• Notifications sent to you inside the App (deliveries, bills, payments, claims).
• Technical data: a login token stored securely on your phone so you stay logged in.

We do not collect your location, contacts, call logs, SMS, or any advertising ID. The App has no ads and no third-party analytics or tracking.

3. Phone permissions

• Camera / photos: used only when you choose to take or pick a photo for a problem report. Only the photos you select are uploaded.
• Phone dialer: the "Call Dairy" button opens your phone's dialer; the App does not make calls itself.
• Internet: to talk to the Dairy's server.

4. How the information is used

• To take and deliver your milk orders and to show you your orders, deliveries, bills and account statement.
• To check and settle problems you report (spoiled, short or missed milk).
• To send you notices about your orders, deliveries, bills, payments and claims.
• To keep the accounts and tax records the Dairy is required to keep by law.

5. Sharing

Your information is not sold or rented to anyone. It is seen only by the Dairy's staff who need it (office staff, and your delivery person for your name, address, phone and order). It is stored on secure servers rented by the Dairy / Prowexa from a hosting provider, who cannot use it for anything else. Information may be disclosed if required by law, a court or a government authority.

6. Security

Information travels between the App and the server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Passwords are stored hashed, each user sees only what their role allows (a customer sees only their own account), and photos are shown only to the customer concerned and the Dairy.

7. How long it is kept

Account, order and delivery information is kept while you are a customer of the Dairy. Bills, payments and the account statement are kept for up to 8 years as required by Indian tax and accounting laws (GST and Income Tax), even after an account is closed. Other information is deleted or anonymised after that.

8. Your rights and deleting your account

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can ask to see, correct or erase your personal information, and withdraw consent. To delete your account, use Menu → Delete my account in the App or the account deletion page. The Dairy closes the account within 30 days after any unpaid dues are settled; records that the law requires are kept as explained above.

9. Children

The App is meant for businesses and adults who buy milk from the Dairy. It is not meant for children under 18.

If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
